So you’ve just seen the new VH1 show The Pick Up Artist and seen seduction master, Mystery picking up girls in any spot, night and day. You’re probably wondering “How do I pick up girls like Mystery?!” The methods Mystery uses are to meet and get women as fast and easy as possible (also known as speed seduction). You can learn to use these methods quick, as with anything though - practice makes perfect. First lets start with an overview of the stages of pickup and what you need to know to get to the next stage successfully - without flunking out!
Pre-Game: Pre game is before you even go out, like learning how to dress different (and better) then the other guys, wearing things that women will notice and want to comment on. (Also known as “Peacocking”). Getting in a good mood - if you’re scared or nervous how will you give of the confidence needed to talk to girls? And building confidence to eliminate the fear of rejection most guys have.
Opening: Opening is when you approach women in a bar or club and start the seduction process. Avoid pick up lines! In this process the most important things are confidence, body language, innocent touch (not groping) and interesting but funny (slightly cocky - but not too much) conversation. Also, if things are going well in conversation but you don’t want to get stuck in the friend zone, you need a good statement of intent (or SOI) - This means saying something that lets a woman know that you like her in a not just friends way.
Bridge Building: This is when you try to build the levels of attraction in the conversation. You got to show the qualities that people want (Confidence, Fun to be around, Interesting, Great sense of humor). Even though it’s more comfortable to keep talking with out any tension, you’ve got to build tension to move to the next level. You want to build attraction to avoid the “let‘s just be friends” zone. Idea here is to up attraction and eliminate last minute resistance (or LMR).
Closing: Obvious enough right? This is where you try to close the deal if you can.
